Build your road bike
Pick every part and see what the bike weighs, what it costs and what the weight is worth on a climb. 290 parts, each weight and price read off the maker’s own site in October 2026.
How the numbers are counted
Weights are the makers’ claimed weights for the size or configuration they state; a real bike on a scale usually comes out a little heavier, and paint, sealant and bolts are not counted. Prices are list prices (MSRP) in euros or dollars. A part whose maker publishes no number is shown without one, and the total then says “≥”.
The climb time is physics, not a promise: steady power, still air, sea level, riding on the hoods (CdA 0.32 m²), good tyres on smooth tarmac (Crr 0.004), 2.4% drivetrain loss. It shows how much a few hundred grams are worth against the power you can hold, which is the part training changes.
